Moving To The Country, Gonna Eat A Lot Of Peaches!
Help! I feel as if I am up to my ears in peach jam. We made 3 dozen jars of the stuff today. Plus, I have enough peaches to do 3 dozen more, so, I guess I'll be making more. I'll also be doing a batch of blackberry (about 6 pints). Next month, it's on to grape jelly. I'm getting 5 gallons of concord grapes and that will make about 5 dozen pints of jelly. Hmmmm, should I give it out as Christmas presents? Naw, I'm sure that the family will enjoy it. Right now, Alex is over at Misty's helping her make her jam. What a trooper. Yes, Lisa, you will get some of each.
Right now, the kids are all playing nicely together. I haven't even had the tv on since we left at 11 this morning. How nice. I'll be sending the younger ones to bed in about 10 mins. I'll probably actually go to bed early myself. But I will definately spend some time to myself first. Just chillin and watching the news.
I think tomorrow will be a bum around the house day. Dan will be sleeping so maybe I'll fill the pools up in the morning and by afternoon they will be warm. We'll see how nice I am and how good they go to bed.
All right. I'm off. Keep on keepin on.

Well, I have a blister and 2 burns. One of the burns is thanks to Jack. He did not act like the sample was hot!!!! Anyway, I came home with 23 jars and 2 1/2 pints of peach jam. Been a "jammin" weekend for sure.
I don't like jelly, jam or preserves. I like peanut butter, though...and Oreos.
Well, hmmmm......we were boiling the jam, so I would assume that it was hot, but you are a first timer, so I guess that it is ok. As for you liking peanut butter and oreo's, I really hope it's not at the same time. Gross. Plus, I don't make peanut butter. Sorry, I guess I need to learn something you like. Oh, I know, Magic Bars.
Thanks I will be waiting for me jam...
