You Go, Girl!

I really think that my step-son, Jacob, is going to be a little comedian. Today, at lunch, I was in the other room, but I heard it all, Alex did something to Whitney, and she slapped him, and Jake piped up with, You Go Girl. I laughed so hard, I thought I would wet myself. The kid is funny. Alex is that way too, that's why it was always so hard to correct him. I need to learn to leave the room to laugh and then punish them. Apparently, since Jake can't call me Boobies, he has moved on to calling me Baby. Dan doesn't like that either. Poor kid can't win with his father.lol.

Looks like it's actually going to cool down tomorrow. That will be nice. Give my poor ac a chance to keep up. Bonus, tomorrow night, Dan's parents are taking his kids and keeping them all night. What a nice little relief. When I told Alex, all he could do was keep saying thank you. I thought he would feel left out, but he is actually glad for the break.

Well, I'm going to work on supper. I'm grilling bbq chicken tonight.
