Influenza A

Yep, I got it. Yippee. Started Sunday, I feel a little better, but my head hurts. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be more upright. I'm due back at work on Thurs, so I better get better.

Finally, something to say.

Okay, whatever, I suck. However, I do have something to finally blog about.

My mom got a chance to exercise with Richard Simmons, so Alex, Erin, and I tagged along, Dan had to work. We heard Richard before we even got through the door. We stood watching him for a while, when Mom was getting signed in. He cracked Alex up and he came over to talk to Erin. We were told that we couldn't go in while they were exercising, but one of the ladies in charge told Mom to get us. Erin loved the music and laughed and bounced, it was cute. After is was over, he signed autographs, the line was huge. We kinda stood away and watched a little and when we were getting ready to go, he told everyone to wait a minute and he got off the stage and came over to talk to Erin, and he sang to her and gave her a kiss, plus he gave her a pic of him and wrote her name on it. She really seemed to like him. It was cute. Alex was very impressed by Richard going out of his way to talk to Erin. That made Alex's day.

Then, tonight, it was on 2 different newscasts and you could see the kids and I. Before we left home today, I told Alex to look halfway nice in case it was on the news. Tonight he knew what I was talking about.

We did take pics with our phones, but since they are just a day old, we are still trying to figure out how to use them. I'll try to post the pics when I get it figured out, but don't hold your breath.
