My hair wasn't gray a minute ago.
Well, I finally rode in a vehicle with Alex. He's okay at it, but he needs to find the gas pedal and relax. He said he was more comfy in the drivers ed car. I can believe that, we have a big ol Pontiac Montana. He got an A in the class and a B on the behind the wheel test. It's just going to take practice. I'm proud of myself for not showing Alex how freaked out I was. I'm not a good passenger when hubby drives, so it was a big deal for me to sit back and tell Al how good he was doing and he'll get better. I need a big ol pat on the back. At least every Tues I'm making him drive to and from his guitar lesson, whether he likes it or not, lol. I really wish we could afford to buy another vehicle. A car would be so much better for him. Oh well, he'll get better or I will.

Well, he needs the practice in a larger vehicle so when he gets in a smaller one it'll be easier than ever. He'll learn that he has to use his mirrors, etc., better in the van.
Now you know how Mom feels when she rides with me (still). Drink a shot of whiskey before you go out with him and you'll be fine.
I am always slamming my foot down on the imaginary break pedal whenever I am a passanger. It is my passive way of showing the wife I am freaked out!
I always wondered if mom was freaked when I drove. She never showed it if she was. I do remember her once saying "You can slow down a bit on this curve" and I think I sensed a silent scream.
