Innocent, until Mommy catches you.

Yesterday, I made a cake. Well, while I was doing laundrey, the princess decided it looked really pretty. I walked into the kitchen and she had something all over her shirt, it looked like dried blood. Alex was next to her, getting a drink, and I asked him what was all over her. He looks at her, kinda horrified, then he looks at the cake and starts laughing. She stuck her fingers in the cake and was covered in chocolate frosting. Here are the pics of the little sweety.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I just don't seem to have any idea what to post and then if I did, I would have to pry Al from the computer chair. I think his butt and the chair have merged into one.

Traffic Jam in Findlay, Film at 11!

Holy Moley! My sis called and said that gas prices jumped to 3.89. Well, they were still 2.93 here, and boy didn't everyone know it. Traffic was lined up. One of the girls said that there is never this much traffic unless there is a funeral. We did top off our tank. I told Mom I should have brought the camera. Crazy.

Mini update.

I hope everyone had a good 4th. My mom tried to catch the neighbors place on fire with flying fireworks, but other than that, it was good. We had some tasty t-bones. Yummy.

On Friday, we are going to be gone for a few days. We are going to be picking up Alex from his dads, and then on Sat, Dan will be flying to Connt. to get his kids and we will be home on Sun. I can't wait to have Manny's pizza, I think I will have to take a pic so that Aunt Pinkie can see it. We may even go to the zoo after we drop hubby off at the airport. I can't wait to see Al, I miss the bugger. I'm looking forward to seeing Dan's kids. Hopefully, Whitney has decided to make the most of it. I love kids and it hurts my feelings that I can't seem to bond with her, I will keep trying and she can take it from there. Oh well, the joys of being a step parent.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday. I do want to mention, or thank, one of my blogger buddies, Lin. She is a military wife and here hubby recently got back from overseas. Now believe what you want about the war, I'm not posting to get into a debate, I just wanted to thank Lin in her family for their part in our being able to celebrate our freedoms. The spouses of our military play a very important part. They give our service members a reason to fight and go on. I was a military wife, but my ex never saw combat. I have several family members that are former military. So, again, thank you Lin and Gary! I'll be thinking of your family tomorrow. Have a great day and if you see a service member in uniform, go up to them and thank them!
