Must be doing something right.

I just got a call from Alex's school and they said that Dan and I are getting the parent support award on his awards day. Every year they give the award to one set of parents that are there for the kids and involved in what they do at school. I thought that was pretty cool. The only glitch is that they moved awards day from the 18th, a day I had clear, to the 26th, a day that I am supposed to work. I called the acting postmaster to see if we can get someone else in that day and she is going to work on it. Having that day off would work well in another way also, because Erin's last day of school is the 25th and Dan works the 25th and 26th, so he would need sleep and I would have to find a sitter, so hopefully it works out that someone can from another office can work for me. It's important because Al is going to be a high schooler next year and plus I don't like to miss these things.
