HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHIRLEY!

Well, it's almost my friend, Shirley's, birthday. She sent an e-vite to her gathering at Olive Garden and Starship. Unfortunately, we are unable to make it. No sitter and we have to get ready for picking up his kids, we leave on Friday. If I still lived in Springfield, I would be there for sure. That is one of the things I miss. Going out with friends. I'm horrible about keeping in touch, I really need to do better. Anyway, have a great time, Shirley! I'll be thinking of you.

So, got new curtains hung up in my livingroom, my mom made them and they look great, plus, we now have privacy, so I can wear my nightgown out there and no one will see me. Yippee, I won't be scarring anyone for life.

Hubby and the princess have been enjoying the leftovers from the 4th. I'm going to give her some of grams homemade blackberry crisp in a minute, she loves it.

Since Alex is gone, things are pretty quiet around here. But next week, things will be hopping. 5 kids, what in the hell was I thinking? I'm up for it. It's all good. Plus Alex always wanted a little brother, now he has 2 plus another little sister. I wonder how this will affect our adult time? Knowing Dan, it won't slow him down. TMI?
