One Year

Wow, it was one year ago today that I first laid eyes on my husband. My first impression of him was "Damn, he's skinny. I'll break the poor guy!" But luckily he put on some weight and now he's my hot little stud-muffin. It seems like we've been together forever, it's great. Of course, it could be just living in the town that time forgot, that makes me feel that way.

So my family is a bunch of early risers. Lots of comments today from the peanut gallery. And Mike, the off white sheets that Mom is sewing are for curtains, not uniforms. Just wanted to clear that up right now.

Right now, hubby is at his brothers rotating the tires on the van like a good man should. Erin is playing with a chair as usual. Looks like another uneventful day in the sticks, but then again, maybe not. Because Becky Lou down the way got herself in the family way, don't know if the daddy is Jim Bob or Bubba. The McCoys got themselves a brand spankin new tractor, what a fine piece of machinery. Susie May Jones painted her house, prettiest shade of fushia you ever did see. The cop was busy last night solving the cow tipping incedent, I had nothing to do with it. The Piggly Wiggly ran out of Pabst, and there was almost a riot. But the most terrible thing that happened was all the t.v.'s in town went out and nobody could watch Nascar. How sad.
