Blogging Booger

Wow, I really have been lax about blogging. I really have no excuse. This summer has flown by. I have to register the kids for school on Friday and then Saturday, we take Dan's kids back. The best part of Saturday is, Lisa and I get Manny's pizza and a baby fix. We'll see Lisa's grandbaby and on Sunday, I think we'll go to Jessica's bridal shower. Hubby will be flying all day Sat. He leaves at 10:30ish in the a.m. and will get back at 11 ish in the p.m. Poor fella. He starts his vacation on Friday and he's off for almost 2 wks. Erin has an appt with her audiologist on the 14th so maybe we will go to the state fair after that, I've got to see the butter cow, NOT! Hubby informed me that he will be spending a lot of time in the pool. I think he might have gotten in it 3 times. Of course, with him having the native american blood in him, he will turn brown very quickly, which will be quite fetching next to my bright red. I've actually been good about staying out of the sun or using sunscreen. I guess I'm getting up there in age and don't need the wrinkles.

In other news, hubby's brother is going to be a dad again. Misty is due in Jan, but she is sure showing already, I wonder if there just might not be twins hiding in that belly. I have to admit I'm jealous, but I think it's only because I want to name a kid Jerry Curl. Yes, our last name is Curl. Hubby doesn't find that amusing. He won't even let me name pets cheese or corn because the vets use your last name, so we would have cheese curl and corn curl. Some people have no sense of humor.
