SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!

It's the first snow day of the year. I actually love them. I don't have to worry about the kids traveling in the snow and ice. They both go to school 45 mins away from home. Yesterday was crap and they were 30 mins late getting home. Right before Erins bus picked her up, she was sick again. Sent home Tues, I kept her home Wed and she was fine, and then yesterday she gets sick again. Dan asked what they fed her at school. I doubt it's that. So she was staying home today anyway. Alex kept asking me last night to let him stay home today. I told him he has to go school even if he has to be strapped to the bus and pulling it there. I'm an evil mommy. lol But I am glad that school was cancelled.

On the plus side, it is beautiful outside. We got between 5 and 6 inches and everything looks so pretty. It's not suppose to snow again for at least a week. That's good because I have to go to Springfield for training and I don't want to have to drive in crap or have to shack up at the brothers house. Mom stayed there last night.

The in-laws are supposed to come over this afternoon to have a mini-celebration for hubby's birthday. As of tomorrow, we will be the same age. I always tease him that he's my boy-toy because he is younger than me. He always reminds that it's only by nine months, although he did graduate a year behind me. I told him I would have never dated an underclassman.

Well, I'm off to curl up on the couch and watch cartoons with the kiddies. I won't have many more oppertunities to do that since I start working next week. Yeah.(for work, not for not spending time with my kids, I enjoy that)
